Born and raised in Breckenridge, Colorado, Abby Paffrath has had a lifelong love of adventure. She is an avid fly fisherwoman, has been skiing for as long as she can remember, and always loved riding horses on her family ranch in Colorado.

Abby attended The University of Montana, in Missoula, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in fine art. Enrollment in a program that took her to Bali, Indonesia began a lifelong love for the beauty and technique of batik.

“My favorite part of creating batiks is the mystery. The Finished product is so absorbing, so captivating.”

In 2011, Abby earned her master’s degree in art education at Lewis and Clark College. Upon finishing her post-graduate degree, Abby headed to Jackson, Wyoming.

The wild beauty of Wyoming feeds her inspiration and allows her to ski, fly fish, hike, and ride her horse. Abby is livin’ and lovin’ life with her husband Nick, and their two children.
